In the last two years, Up & Underground has been functioning as the proceedings of the Subversive Film Festival. The basic structure of the periodical has remained more or less unchanged (from the previous editorial / design team of Bralić and Mrduljaš), although the writings of both local and foreign intellectuals are related to current festival themes. In line with the focus on a specific topic, a greater role has been given to illustration and documentary supplements. An additional design treat in the issues published in 2009 and 2010 (one dedicated to China, the other to socialism) consists of the concluding features — reproductions of the Chinese and the Yugoslav socialist poster.
