The culture magazine Gordogan is a reincarnation of the Croatian cult magazine of the 1980s. It was started up again in 2003, and hence the new issues bear the additional qualification new series. The design of the magazine is the work of Dejan Dragosavac Ruta. The main topic of the issue on show — History in Verses — is dedicated to odes to absolutist government in the region (from the time of Emperor Franz Joseph down to this day). The cover of Rafaela Dražić for Gordogan seems at first sight a charming lace pattern, and only the slightly more attentive gaze will reveal what lies below its pretty exterior  —  the eye-pleasing pattern is composed of the figures of children from the covers of Ustasha (Croatian supporters of Nazi regime) children books printed during WWII.
