Appropriate to the occasion, the title page of the Extended Media Gallery annual catalogue was handled as an aggregate of photographs of the exhibitions held in 2009 that orbit around a central photo of the HDLU building ring. The interior space of the gallery is dominated by a dome primarily experienced as the sum of the fretted particles of light that the panes of the dome let through. It is the permutations of light (fragmentation, colour and reduction) that are a leitmotif that extends throughout the treatment of photographs and copy.
